Economic Development Services works on projects of all sizes across the state.  Whether it is a new industry or commercial business coming to the state or expansion of an existing business, Alagasco stands ready to assist. 

With a cooperative spirit, Alagasco’s Economic Development Services works closely with local, state and regional economic development professionals. Alagasco partners with the Alabama Development Office and other agencies in order to match companies with communities. All services provided are free of charge and all information is held in strict confidence.

While Alagasco’s service territory is central Alabama, Economic Development Services will assist however and whenever it can outside of the service territory.  Growth in Alagasco’s service territory is positive, but the overall benefit of the State of Alabama is first and foremost.  What is good for Alabama is good for us all!

Alagasco purchases gas from more than 20 different interstate, intrastate and spot market suppliers in order to provide the lowest possible prices to our customers.  The company prides itself on the reliable daily delivery of natural gas, a safe and efficient product.
